CONSTITUTIONAL LAW II: FUNDAMENTALS OF CONSTITUTIONAL LAW
(LAWC-4110) - 4 UNITS
Students in this 4-unit lecture course will be assessed in a traditional proctored on-campus exam testing mastery of constitutional doctrinal caselaw. It is appropriate for students who have not yet taken the Constitutional Law required for graduation (there are no course prerequisites), and for students who want an additional opportunity to master topics they struggled with in their first Constitutional Law course. This is also a course designed for students who excelled in Constitutional Law and wish to gain even greater mastery of topics, including Constitutional Structure, Constitutional Interpretation, Separation of Powers, Congressional Power, Executive Power, Equal Protection, Substantive Due Process, the Second Amendment, and the First Amendment's Religion Clauses. This class is a good fit for any student interested in expanding and sharpening their knowledge of fundamental constitutional legal theories and doctrines related to core constitutional law topics.
