LAND USE CONTROLS
(LAWE-4006) - 3 UNITS

This course examines selected problems in the law of zoning, subdivision control, and urban planning, with special emphasis on their impact and effect on the development of land resources in modern America. Topics include subdivision exactions; conditional use permits, variances, and related zoning mechanisms; growth control issues; and the takings clause of the U.S. Constitution.

Students who have taken Land Use Regulation are not permitted to enroll in this course.
