MOTION PICTURE CONTRACT DRAFTING
(LAWF-4080) - 2 UNITS

This course is a "hands-on" skills course focusing on drafting motion picture industry contracts. Students will be required to draft, revise and interpret motion picture rights agreements and personal service agreements. Course materials will consist primarily of form documents actually used in the motion picture industry. The focus of the course will be on major motion picture studio transactions. The purpose of this course is to enable a new lawyer, recently hired by a motion picture studio, independent production company or entertainment law firm, to perform entry level entertainment contract drafting matters under customary supervision.
