NEGOTIATION INTENSIVE WORKSHOP

This course is an intensive, skills-based introduction to the theory, process, and practice of negotiation. It is designed to help students improve their skills in transactional negotiation and the negotiated settlement of litigation. In addition to lectures and group discussions, classroom instruction will rely heavily on simulated negotatiation exercises. There will be required readings for most classes and a number of short written assignments related to particular simulation exercises. Students who have taken Introduction to Negotiations are ineligible to take this course. The Ethical Lawyering course is not a prerequisite.
